A Busy Year

Alzheimer's Society Selects CC Grant Tracker
December 2010CC Technology are very pleased to announce that the Alzheimer's Society have selected CC Grant Tracker to manage their complete grants management process.
Alzheimer's Society is the largest support and research charity in the UK for people with dementia, their families and carers. It funds research prioritised by people with personal experience of dementia, which falls under the themes of cause, cure, care and prevention through the funding programme.

October 2010After independent assessment by Bureau Veritas, an UKAS-accredited certification body, CC Technology has been certified as meeting the following standards:
- ISO 9001:2008, the international standard for quality management.
- ISO 27001:2005, the international standard for information security management.
As part of the ISO 9001 certification, CC Technology was also found to be compliant with the TickIT Guide v5.5 which specifically addresses the application of the ISO 9001 standard for software development and support activities.
This audit and certification comes after a company-wide project to ensure that all aspects of our processes meet the rigorous criteria of the standards.

Leverhulme Trust selects CC Grant Tracker

Denmark's national record label Dacapo launches newest CC Music Store

The Alzheimer's Research Trust chooses CC Grant Tracker
August 2009CC Technology are pleased to announce that CC Grant Tracker has been selected by the Alzheimer's Research Trust to manage all of their grant streams. The system allows all applications and reviews to be carried out online and manages all awards and claims. Existing grants data is currently being migrated to the new system.
Based in Cambridge, England, the Alzheimer's Research Trust is funding world-class research to find ways to cure, prevent or treat Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Alzheimer's Research Trust also provides free information on dementia and the treatments available.

Wee Kilda Guide - National Trust for Scotland
May 2006A new website giving information about the history and wildlife of the remote islands of St Kilda has been launched for children. The interactive guide tells what life was like in the past for the children on St Kilda and also what life is like for people who live and work on the islands now.
A further recent enhancement to the very popular St Kilda website was the creation of some specialist tools to reduce guestbook spam and enhance the experience of the browsing public.

National Trust Seabirds website
June 2005Almost a fifth of all of the seabirds in Scotland breed on National Trust for Scotland properties. This new website, www.nts-seabirds.org.uk, highlights the diversity of the work and seabird populations across the Trusts properties. In particular it has logged the progress of the Canna Seabird Recovery project which has set out to eradicate rats from the island.

Website Performance Testing and Consultancy
August 2004Following the success of a previous project, CC Technology worked with one of Scotland's largest local authorities to provide performance testing services in support of a website hosting migration and solution upgrade of their Microsoft Content Management Server deployment. Major UK Wide .NET Implementation
April 2004CC Technology have won the contract to supply a large financial services provider with an application to improve their client communications. Over 170 market intermediaries will use the system to keep up to date and post feedback during the rollout of new services.
It is intended that the system will allow increased service capacity and replace much of the current call centre activity. This will lower staffing costs while delivering a faster response to clients and improving the internal measurement of this activity.
The browser based system is to be rolled out as a managed service from a co-location site - this will allow fast rollout without resource from the internal IT department and no desktop installation costs.
NHS24 Breathing Space
February 2004CC Technology have supplied NHS24 with a further information management tool to underpin the provision of the Breathing Space call service. Developed to run on a Microsoft .NET and SQL Server architecture, the system is optimised to deliver results sets for complex queries within the required performance targets to assist in the delivery of this important service.
Office of the Scottish Charities Registrar launches
January 2004OSCR staff have full day-to-day control of their website, www.oscr.org.uk, using CC Technology's Content Manager. When the charities regulator was being formed it was very clear that the website would need to be updated regularly with a variety of materials and by a variety of authors to support their communication remit. CC Technology's Content Manager features a documentation library and intelligent templates which together make the update process flexible, simple and quick.
Debt Management Solution for Global Banking Group
November 2003The debt recovery team of a global banking group have taken delivery of a system that to improves the monthly reporting of their business. Based on MS Access, the system delivers streamlined aggregation of performance figures across business teams, as well as providing debt management staff with a bespoke system which allows them to record and track their actions on behalf of a customer.

Information management application developed & deployed to NHS 24 in 5 weeks
May 2003NHS 24 have just taken delivery of an information management software application from CC Technology. This application will be used to manage the provision of health information from NHS 24's three Scottish call centres.
CC Technology creates St Kilda 'World Heritage Site' Nomination Document website
April 2003The Scottish Executive has submitted a 150-page document to UNESCO that sets out the arguments for St Kilda's revised nomination under the World Heritage Sites programme.
CC Technology adapted the style of the report to create a website that opens up the depth of information in a format suitable for readers on the web. www.kilda.org.uk/kildanomdoc/
